This custom made college mace was designed for the University of Wisconsin Baraboo/ Sauk County. I was asked by the Dean of the campus to custom design an academic mace that they could use at graduation ceremonies. Two of my sons had graduated from the two year college campus before going on for their four year degrees, so I was happy to give it a try. Here is the result. This custom made college mace was hand turned and carved using local walnut. The arts and crafts style reflects the architecture of the campus.
