Work Table

Work Table

29" x 30" x 72"

Cherry, Red Maple, and Walnut

I made this work table for the executive director for the Aldo Leopold Foundation, Baraboo WI. It is used as his primary work surface. My first design was a standard trestle table but I finally decided to give him some knee room. The bent stretchers are the result. The walnut knobs are a substitute for pegs and add a lot to the final look. The wood was harvested from Aldo Leopold's daughter's land. This table could be altered to work as a dining table.
